Numbers matching with 440, 4 speed and Dana. Very nice indeed  :yesnod:

Hi there I'm new to the site, I have a charger 500 440/4 speed , 3 build sheet and all paperwork when it new. The charger was sold new at Stanley Dodge National City, California on March 21, 1969. The color is F8 dark green with white stripe green interior all matching numbers. I have the original California tag that was issue in 1969, which is a black plate along with the California registration. The car is in mint condition. Its a cool car..

the paperwork on the car is unreal.  i'm in love with the car.

since the pics were taken I've changed out the headrest bezels, shift knob, breather cap, radiator cap and ballast resistor.  boss also suggested we put in a Gary's steering wheel-restored woodgrain, and it looks awesome.  I also refinished the radiator.

unfortunately it's nowhere near the wing cars (it's in another room next to a Hemi '67 GTX and a '69 Formula S Barracuda) but if we do a decent shuffle i'll try to get them all together.

It's a nice car. That's for sure.. I remember when it was still on the rotisserie.... You need to finish up this '68 of mine so I can start on a Daytona.......

Gorgeous car indeed. Doug if I was working where you work, I don't think I'd get anything accomplished. I'd spend the entire day just looking at 2 cars in the whole place. But that HEMI Daytona and now this 500 would be spotless, okay so I'd take care of the Superbird as well.

you take care of what you can "test drive" pretty well, too...  I'm itching to do so with the panther pink '70 hemi challenger clone I played with all day.  it's NASTY after I figured out all the stupid problems with it!  they're so bad I don't feel like listing them!

I'm dying to take the 500 for a ride, but they're widening the street out front and the dust/dirt/asphalt is so bad I feel bad driving my 5 liter car to work, let alone taking anything out worth a damn.  i've spent more than a couple hours working on that 500, though--i'd love to have especially since the Daytona's F8, too.

the place is a trip to visit--i'd recommend it to anyone.

Hmmm,  might make a trip to Cleveland here this fall. Have a friend who is a huge Browns fan, and I usually make the trip at least once to catch a game with him.

Als500 you should just take some of the money you got from it, and pick up another 500. Then take the next few years putting it together as well.

I miss my car :'(

It'll get better... I've been through three of these... The first v-code I had that I traded for the '68.. Ironic, both are on ebay right now.. My old v-code '70's the one in Denton on the bay. Of course, my '68's on there now as well... Then there was my '69 Road Runner that was a great car, but I sold it to get my former '71 Charger R/T survivor... I cried when both the '70 and '71 went bye-bye..... But, alas, it's all worked up to this very moment in which there's the possibility of getting my dream car, a Daytona..

I feel your pain Al....  Maybe something real soon will fall into your lap.....

You referring to me? If so, I don't have a post of the '70 v-code for I traded in over 10+ years ago and this website didn't even exist..  :D

The other one of Whitey...... Well.... let me look.......

.....

The closest thing I could find was some threads about Whitey being flipped after I sold her.........

Whitey's former thread on being sold again

Not only can you find pics of Steve's Charger here,  if you read the blog on the main site, you can glean valuable information on timely topics such as "nipple confusion".
