Step away from the Charger and drop the red paint.  :brickwall:  Sorry not fan of genny clones. I say buy one that's done if you really need one. There's enough of them out there.

41husk

To each his own, as long as you own the car, if you want to do a GL clone go for it!  There might be a problem if you start cloning other peoples chargers :slap:

Dont really need one just wanted one. Looked at plenty GL clones that  are just thrown together and way overpriced. Why buy somebody else hack job. At least I will know whats under that shiny orange 01 confederate flag wearing dream machine. Im just a Mopar enthusiast not a Mopar purest. :shruggy:

FYI, there's no such thing as a '70 GL Clone. Why not buy the correct year Charger and build a clone? There's plenty of '69 Charger projects out there to choose from. Same goes for Bullitt clones, they just don't look right unless they are the correct year.  :Twocents:

68coronetGLwannabe

I realize that the GL was a 69 but this 70 was in my budget. Either way I think it will be tons of fun and isnt that what its all about.  :icon_smile_big: If your not having fun why bother :2thumbs: If anyone would like to foot the bill for my project I will be glad to do it Just how you want if not I guess I will do it my way.

Hmm. Im not usually one to discourage people from doing what they want but even I have to admit a 70 GL is "off".  Then again people think my air suspension, 18/20 wheels, and rack pinion ideas are "off" too so I guess we're in the same boat ::). Sorta lol.
Well GL with the GL (:D couldnt resist that one) and post pics asap!  :popcrn:

I think you should paint it a silvery color, black bee stripe, black vinyl top, black interior, and black steelies with raised white letter tires.

Speaking of this trash couple, read their feedback, and look at the old auction for the Torino.

In the feedback, the guy that bought the Torino said it was a scam, that no one lived at the address he was given.  The other feedback was for a General Lee, and it stated that they told him, sorry, the car was in an accident the day before he was going to pick it up.

Now, if you go look at the actual Torino auction...do a search on their ebay name and choose old auctions, you find that someone was asking a question about what happened to the LAST Torino they had, and their answer was, it was in an accident the day before it was to be picked up!!!

These people are sociopaths, and can't even keep their lies straight as to what they told on which car.
Do I have the last, operational Popcar Spacemobile?
