Just for giggles, and because I needed to wrench on both cars, I put them in the driveway, side by side, hoods up, all day long. My neighbors asked how the car show was going.  :smilielol:  I really have good neighbors.

And it was fun having the neighborhood kids come by and ooo and aaahhh all day long. Gotta indoctrinate them somehow.  :2thumbs:

Anyway, just a not-so-serious sidenote to our usual serious discussions about hemi's, aero cars and whether anything other than a '69 should be made into a GL.  ;D

The 68 gets my vote for best of show! :drool5:  I could bring my 70 GL  for the next show. :slap:
I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Yes, the best looking brick of all the 2nd gens, even the aero-bricks (its the taillights, o.k.?)....  :icon_smile_wink:  But I would take a '69 next, and then a '70, and then a '71, and then....

hmmm.....  :scratchchin:   im thinking the 68 got a point deduction for the wheels being cut to one side and not straight. ;D  whoops, wait a min.   25 min deduction for each car since the trunks weren't open either.
