well my uncles finally gonna paint her. so i got almost everything stripped off the car. just a few more trim pieces and then the motor and tranny.

my plan it after paint to put the car back together with new or as close to new parts as i can get. my 440 will be rebuilt before it goes in the car also. this is gonna take alot of money so the cars gonna be down for a while but when she finally comes outta the garage its gonna finally be the thophy car it deserves to be.

its still a very nice looking car and i get alot of compliments oin it but its just not what i want it to be. i feel for one of the few R/T SE 4 speed cars left in existance it should be setting a better example so to speak.

heres a pic a guy here made a fake magazine cover a while back sorry i dont remember who it was but its a good pic of the car. only real difference now is the car has new bumpers and i restored the grille since that pic, but it gives you an idea of the cars current state. looks real good in the pic but shes really a 20 footer the paint is pretty old.

im leaning on the same color or close to it but id appreciate pics of freshly painted cars or jus any really nice paint jobs. i do know ill be keeping the vinyl roof. im seriously considering shaving the sidemarker lights and the antenna.  the r/t stripe is going to be painted on aswell.  also thinking of the v21 hood treatment.

im a fan of loud colors, my yellow color, lime green, stuff like that. i also really like that old mopar copper color, i dont know the bame of it though.
