Finally Started! 68 R/T Resto..NOT SCARED!

Well I have to say that I am not happy with Wizard Cooling right now as my rad had a bad weld and when it was being filled for the first fire a leak reared its ugly head. So much for quality control , its on its way back to Wizard and a replacement is in the works from them. Other than that I haven't been up to see the car since the fall.

Edelbrock air gap intake is it ? What type of air cleaner do you have ?

I want to run a holley carb and possibly a dual plane intake with the factory 70 air cleaner. I thought I read that an aftermarket intake,carb won't clear the stock hood with a stock air cleaner ?

It cleared my stock hood. LEON.

I have the Mopar cast aluminum air cleaner...look back through the thread page 11-12 show the valve covers..It will be a tight fit but we will make it work

Well my Rad is back from wizard all ready to rock She should be coming to life in the next few weeks. Shawn is working on a challenger and my ride and plans to have both ready for spring.

You're correct... we had to steal a stock air cleaner base from a coronet to get the hood to close...

Just to clarify... that was for the edelbrock aircleaner, it didn't clear either. The stock base with the edlebrock top worked.
