I'm doing my 70 with Amd metal too.

Full front floor,footwells,trunkpan, 1/4's even the roof.

IMO the finished product will be better than if i put 1000 putches and 5 gallons of bondo. All it takes is 1 small pinhole in a welded patch to get some moisture in it and the plastic filler will boil and i'd be looking at another resto in a few years.

I've done many things the "budget " way the first time to find out by the time i go back and do it right after its cost double.

Yes 440 with Intake ,Heads,Cam & headers..nothing to crazy yet...I'm waiting to see where we are at $ wise before I get to crazy you know. Also the 727 with a shift kit & a Stal

Great work! I don't think that I would have taken that task on, but my 68 R/T is a California car that has been in my family since 1971 and garaged since 1976. I can't wait to see the finished product.

These fender supports are for stiffinging the chasis right?  Any reason why we couldn't make our own?  I'd think they would have to be somewhat petite and tight to fit?
