Very envious off the progress.

I'm doing my 70 with Amd metal too.

Full front floor,footwells,trunkpan, 1/4's even the roof.

IMO the finished product will be better than if i put 1000 putches and 5 gallons of bondo. All it takes is 1 small pinhole in a welded patch to get some moisture in it and the plastic filler will boil and i'd be looking at another resto in a few years.

I've done many things the "budget " way the first time to find out by the time i go back and do it right after its cost double.

Your in ontario right ?

Which vendor did you buy all th AMD parts from?

Yes 440 with Intake ,Heads,Cam & headers..nothing to crazy yet...I'm waiting to see where we are at $ wise before I get to crazy you know. Also the 727 with a shift kit & a Stal :icon_smile_cool:

This could change though after some number crunching lol

Great work! I don't think that I would have taken that task on, but my 68 R/T is a California car that has been in my family since 1971 and garaged since 1976. I can't wait to see the finished product. ;D

These fender supports are for stiffinging the chasis right?  Any reason why we couldn't make our own?  I'd think they would have to be somewhat petite and tight to fit????
