The way some cars rust is odd. From the pics the front floor looks pretty solid yet the frame rails, subframes are rotten.

My 70 rt the front floor was 1/2 gone due to rust before i started cutting. Yet the framerails and subframes still had original paint on them.

They don't call me NUTZ at work for nothing:) Really the whole resto thing has a story behind it all but takes a long time to explain & in my mind doesn't need to be. I've had it it since May 2006 so progress has been slow but I was in line after a few other Cars Shawn was working on. His new shop is sweet so it's full steam ahead & yes another one saved from the JAWS of the crusher!

With all them AMD boxes sitting there I'll assume that this project will start looking less scary to most of us once panels start getting replaced. Keep up the good work.     Ted

By the way, where DID that car come from?  I guess I wouldn't be surprised if it was Minnesota, and I'm pretty sure we can rule out New Mexico...

You guys are lucky! I'm afraid to see what my customs charge bill is going to be when I buy all my sheetmetal from AMD. I'm thinking I'll find a member in Washington and get the stuff shipped there and then I can go pick it up. $90 custom charge for a $210 rear valance is ridiculous.

Great job on the car! Glad to see its getting saved. I can just imagine the look on my face seeing all that AMD stuff sitting there.
