upper ball joints are completely corroded, metal to metal right now

alright for the guys who say replace the ball joint, i know i should. But im only a kid who has been cursed and blessed to have his daily driver be a 68 charger. What can i use to temporarily stop the metat to metal rubbing. Anyone want to sell there extra ball joints cheap? need some answers

If your ball joints are that bad replace them, if not, don't drive the car. Ever see what happens when a ball joint separates.

What do you mean metal to metal? The metal ball sits in a metal socket. The only thing between them is grease. Grease them if they are still good. When one breaks your front end colapses on the broken side and causes damage to other suspension parts and the fender. They are only like 30-35 each. If their bad don't drive it.
