Need a picture of a heater control valve....

Hi guys , new to the board and have a couple of Chargers and the one in question is a 72 Charger with a 400 2-BBL with air conditioning and it is missing the heater control valve. It is the cable type and I bought one from aftermarket and either it is wrong or it is missing a bracket. On another 72 Charger I have, that was a 318 origonally has a vacuume operated one that I think is different. Hope you guys can help out. Thanks Craig

I don't have the Nacho   knowledge (he is the man on Gen 3 here though!), but I got the part; somewhere...

Heater control valve...lets see...
One year ago I took that that out to rebuild the motor...so should be rotro...at the bottom of the box...

Yes! There it is. This is from my 73 318 Charger.











A Quick look at Parts America shows a similiar one. Using a 73 they also have the vacuum actulated one too.

Beer's one is the same mine has but bracket is wrong, and mostly was used on 75 and lates B bodies. At least that is that some dealers says when they are selling them. I think they are wrong and brass one was used since 73 and plastic was 71/72. Maybe they sell that one to 75 and laters as complete assembly just because bracket is different preciselly to those laters models, but it looks valve itself is the same to everyone since 73.

I have three NOS Plastic ones, without brackets. sending soon one to NHCharger... Pete do you want one? also do you dusty ?
