Does anyone here speak Finish?   I need something translated.   Please help!

Tom Craycroft perusti maahantuonti- ja vientiyrityksensä
viime vuonna. Kolme vuotta sitten Yhdysvalloista Suomeen
kotiutuneelle Craycroftille yrityshautomo on tuonut ennen
kaikkea verkostoja. Yrittämisestä hänellä on kokemusta koti-
maastaan jo 20 vuoden ajalta. Samanlaista yrityksen käynnis-
tämisapua oli tarjolla Yhdysvalloissa 80-luvulla.
- On hyvä, että joku on taputtamassa olkapäälle ja hel-
pottamassa alkua. Hautomosta saat tukea ja tarvittavia tietoja
helposti.
Craycroft kertoo saaneensa hautomon kautta apua myös
suomen kielessä. Hänen oman yrityksensä vahvuutena ovat
englanti äidinkielenä sekä kontaktit Yhdysvaltoihin. Häntä työl-
listääkin tällä hetkellä eniten traktorin hyttien osien tuonti USA:
sta. Tom Craycroft toimii teknologiakeskus Logistian yrityshau-
tomossa Kauhajoella.

Thanks,

Finns, speak Finnish.

Otherwise it looks like you're asking about big Chryslers from the '50s . . .  ;)

This translation is not 100% correct, reason is I couldn't translate al the Finnish words correctly to English, but my translation will give you the the main idea to what the Finnish text is al about.

Tom Craycroft started his import/export company last year. Craycroft moved to Finland some three years ago and really made himself feel comfortable and he has also made allot of industrial contacts. He has acquired allot of experience during his 20 years in helping different companies to get started back home in the states. When he started his company in Finland he got allot of help with the where, what and how, he also got help to learn the Finnish language. He says he owes a big thank you to this provided help to foreigners who want to start a company, he says he got al the help, support and information he needed.
The strength of his own company is the English language and very strong and solid contacts to different companies in the States. His company is importing tractor parts from the States. Tom Craycroft is working at a Logistics company in Kauhajoki (Kauhajoki is a town at the west coast of Finland)

Thanks for the tip grouseman!

I have edited my title (added the extra N to minmize the confusion) so we don't get people posting pics of fin cars!    :image_294343:

Oh what the hell, if you don't speak Finnish and you want to contribute - post a pic of a fin car!

Thanks MeFirst!  I can say that is what I thought it said, but I knew / hoped that it was something along those lines.  Thanks again!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

How odd is it that someone actually knows how to translate that? Just curious but where did you get that information at? I mean was it an email you needed translated or just a website you were checking out.

Actually, I am in the middle of a deal with a company that has manufacturing facilities in Kansas and Finland.  I received a voice mail from a fellow, Tom Craycroft, asking me to e-mail him regarding this deal.  His e-mail address was a generic one (eg: comcast.com, sbcglobal.com, sympatico.ca) from Finland, so there was nothing to look up.  Before I e-mailed him I wanted to know who he was and what interest he had in this deal.  I typed his name into Google, got a couple of hits, the only one with any substance was all in Finnish.  Our offices in Sweden could not translate as Swedish is quite a bit different than Finnish.

The information provided above by MeFirst was exactly what I figured it would be, an agent hired by my customer's vendor to assist in importing products from North America.  I e-mailed him my contact information and we spoke on the telephone.  I will meet him in Kansas on Wednesday.

There are some "leeches" out there and when they hear of a deal that is quite significant, they come out of the woodwork looking to cash in on a few bucks.  I wanted to make sure this guy was not one of them and it turns out he is not.  If his voice mail was more specific and detailed, I would not have been so skeptical.
