Guess what this car is.. :2thumbs:

Can be seen in Passadumkeag Maine.. my buddy Pat brought these pics to me yesterday cause he owns a camp there.  Been there for about 4 months he says.  Right off the Caribou Rd, in between his and my best friend Rob's camp.

Yes Cody, you can use it.

I'll take some more pics when I go up in 2 weeks to build a deck/foundation for Rob's shed before winter hits.   If possible, I will talk with the owner.  Nice people up there so no worries I hope.

Also, don't know if I mentioned this but just 1-2 miles from camp there are 2(that I can see) rotting Chally's in another guys yard.  Supposedly he has more out back.  I'll try to take pics of the rotting blue one and red one from the road.(I have seen these Chally's so I know they are there)

He also saw a yellow 68' Hemi Charger one day when he was there and called me immediately to tell me his find but no camera that day.  He was upset but was raving on the phone yelling, it's right there mikey, right there, crap kid I wish you were here cause nobody is gonna believe this..  I quizzed him and he described it correctly(as far as the 68' goes anyway)
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I would guess it to be an early model Tarp-car concept, shown here with the light weight front end package. A striking example if I do say so my self.  :eyes:
Seriously though I have no idea, looks pretty squared off but maybe thats just the camera angle.  :popcrn:

I think I have seen some of those tarp concept cars before.   It seems like they are almost always blue.  :icon_smile_big:

OK, i'm stepping it up a week.  My buddy Gene decided we aren't going oval tracking this week, so the camp trip is back on. For the record, I don't care for camping too much but my buddy Rob needs a deck built and he knows that is the only way i'll go is if there is work to do.  Besides, his camp is a house now anyways, satellite, power(not a generator either), crazy.
Anyway, maybe i'll be able to get the pictures or more info this weekend.

Saw the Plymouth under the tarp this morning, didn't stop though, seems to have a GTX hood and the passenger qtr is rotted.  I do have pictures coming, my friend's GF took a couple for me yesterday with her camera while we were building the shed.  Also this morning I stopped on the side of the road to get a picture of the Challenger and the home owner was standing outside, so I asked his permission and he said sure, than asked me why I was taking pictures, so I told him about this site, etc...(didn't get a picture of the red one cause the grass is too tall.) We ended up talking for about 20 minutes right there on the highway.  He has a 68 Roadrunner 4 speed midyear car(69 rear windows/rearglass) that he has owned since 1983, and the Challengers are his brothers cars and he has 7 of them.  I did not ask to see the 68' but I will get to know him and I'll get around to seeing it hopefully.  Come to find out him and his brother purchased a building and they house around 30 cars in there.  They ended up getting this storage building, that used to be an old fire station, because 2 of his Mopars had been stolen.  Talking to him, he really knows his stuff and is a true Mopar guy for sure.

The blue challenger was bought just for the glass because the convertible his brother is restoring didn't have tinted glass.  The cars, although rotting a little were bought to either help restore more rare cars with as much correctness as possible, or they will restore as much as they can and sell the rest.  They know what they have and his brother just bought a Roadrunner/GTX yesterday for 8 grand.  I said I'd never heard of that and he said neither have I, but he's gonna check numbers and stuff and see what's what.
Anyway, nice guy and enjoyed the conversation with him.
Oh yeah there was also a 68 coronet 440 along the same road a few miles up surrounded by cars and trucks so i didn't get a picture of that one.
