Why are Hemi fenders worth more than standard fenders?

who gives a shit really? when they are all painted and look nice its all the same like say you own a hemi car thats about the only time youd hav em and if not whatever but say u have a 318 car and tell everyone u have hemi fenders ?BIG WOW they are basically the same buy the cheaper ones who cares about hemi fenders are they a hemi engine? NOPE -MATT

i have a 318 car that the former owner put a "hemi" fender on and  its rotten soo will anybody trade it for a good regular?

For a nominal fee of course, you guys can ship parts you're getting ready to sell to me.   I'll either bolt them on my car somewhere, or just lay them on top.   Then you can advertise them on eBay as having been pulled off a Hemicar...

I don't care either, but there are a lot of people who really get into the whole 100% factory correct, restoration on a car. I would rather have a nice repro fender, as well as other good repro parts, than worry about correctness. The difference might be when someone is competing for points at a major show & comes up short because he has the wrong fenders on it. That same person wants date coded hoses, certain distributor caps, NOS replacement only, & more, but that's usually for different reasons than just driving it around on nice days. To each their own.

Maybe, but I bet ebay will get you a ton of greenbacks for it.
