It reminds me of picking up my Super Bee in the pouring rain, 200 miles from my house, and discovering how really bad the brakes were, and the intermittent lockup of the right rear hub due to an out of round drum.  I had my 4 year old son and wife driving the Ram behind me with specific instructions on not to follow closely.  Every exit, it was, "Do I get off here and have it towed home, or do I keep going?".

The rain let up, the brakes ran a bit better, and I made it home.  Worst ride in my life!  I didn't even want to LOOK at that car for a few days.

(as a side note, two brake shops could not fix the brakes, I finally bought two new rear drums and fixed it myself, dummies)
