My car will not start after doing an engine change. There is power at the battery, at the starter relay, to the firewall jb. Dome light works. Has my firewall connection gone bad or should I pull the steering column to check the ignition wire connections? Not sure which is the power wire on the two connections blocks on the steering column.

Is the nuetral safety wire hooked up to the starter relay?

Will it turn over if you jumper the two threaded terminals on the starter relay?

If so, check the yellow wire on the starter relay (terminal marked "I") for power when the key is in the start position and check the "G" terminal for ground when the shifter is in the P and N positions.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
