Painted on rear stripe?

Has anybody had the rear stripe on their charger painted on instead of using the decal? If so, did you clear coat over it or leave it matte. Stick

many have done it. I personaly think it looks much nicer.

this was done on my car a few years ago. It has since been repainted due to an accident (stupid camaros :flame:)
