I don't know if they offered different sizes or not, but for a 1969 Charger with front disc brakes and magnum 500 wheels, what was the factory size and backspacking?  I have seen the wheels in 14", but I don't know the width or backspacing, or if they were optioned in 15".

Thanks.

Just so happens that I have exactly what you were asking...... factory magnum 500 rims were only available in 14" by 5 1/2 backspacing in 1969.  The trim rings were a one year only item that attached to the edge of the rim like a wheel weight and the inner part of the trim ring had a lip curled up where the "spokes" of the center part of the rim went out towards.  All 14" trim rings in 1969 were brushed on the flat part going to the center of the rim  while the ribbed outer part was polished.

Thanks for the inforation.  I didn't realize that the 500's were one year only with those trim rings.  All 4 of mine are still on the car, so I guess I'd better save them when I swap wheels.  I was curious about the size to see if they were offered in 15", but I see now that they were not.

Thanks again,

Daran

They do sell repro's in 15" sizes but from the factory, the only 15" rims available in 1969 were the steel rims on Hemis, police cars, and I think A12 coded cars.
