Found this sitting a block down the street.
NOT buying it, just curious...

Tried to look for dash plate... wiped dirt away and did not see one where the cars have 'em.

Approximate year?

Where do I find VIN?

It's between 1973 and 1977, that much I know. I'm going to guess 1975.

Looks to be a '73 or '74 going by the grill and what looks to be cab mounted gas tank. I had a '75 and that had a frame mounted tank.

Dudes, look at the grill in TK's pic compared to the one I posted of the '75. They're the same.

I don't know what that means. :shruggy: :shruggy:

gas tank in the the cab behind the bench seat. gas filler hole is right there behind the cab door.  If the tank was frame mounted the filler neck would be in the side of the bedside.

74 thru 76 shared the same grill. Its either a 74-75-76 truck.

It definately has a tank inside the cab. It could have a frame mounted tank as well. A better picture would tell. There is a slight mark where the frame tank fill hole could be on the picture but not clear enough to tell. I have a 76 3/4 ton that has both with the factory tank switch setup.   My 74 club cab 3/4 only has a frame tank.  They also had an option for a 3rd tank back where the spare tire would be and a fill hole on the rear side of the rear wheels.

Gas cap is on the cab behind driver door... the truck is sitting by the road at a trucking company, haven't asked about it... tags expired 5/07. Was curious as to the engine in it... might talk to 'em later.  It is an automatic.

Actually, I'd like to have it so I probably shouldn't go ask about it... just what I need, another Mopar project  :D

I had two 76 pickups and one '74,  a 74 dodge van, and a 74 ramcharger wagon,  looks like a 75 I would guess

What's up Chris?   haven't got to many speeding tickets in your new black Mustang GT   I hope,    :patrol:           hey, where's the burn out smoke the tires  icon?

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

WingCharger

I like the 77-79 trucks. Favorite grille. If I found a 78, I could make a Midnite Express out of it! :drool5:

magnum

I had a 75 4x4 with the same grill and the tank wasn't behind the seat, might be an earlier that year model, my guess is that it is a 75
Takes a MOPAR to catch a mopar!

Would it matter that it is a small 6ft bed cause mine was an 8ft?

I've got a 76 3/4 ton long bed that has both tanks.

The tail lights usually have the year molded into them.

UFO

That usually only applies to the first year they were used.

It's a Mustang.  Probably couldn't get a ticket if you tried.  Not fast enough. :D
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.
