He owns a car dealership, so I know he knows the car is worth a crazy amount.

Only worth a crazy amount in realative terms.  It is continues to be weathered outside he will the the price DECLINE, SIGNIFICANTLY.  If he is SOO brilliant that car would at least sit inside..... :shruggy:

Joshua

How do you know it has a 4 speed? Or a buddy seat? You say the car was sitting BEHIND the house....you also say the guy just moved in....yet the car looks to have been sitting quite awhile....
Sounds like you were TRESPASSING.....
If I were the owner and some kid came over wanting to take pics of a car, for sale or not....I'd run him off....
Stick to yer Squirrel huntin'......

I know I am verry leary of checking out parked vehicles with out owner permission, but if I knew the person I might be likely to check out a car if it suddenly showed up on his property.

Nope (69 of course). It's the Plymouth equivalent of a Dodge R/T.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Yes I stopped and looked at it without permission.

It is in good condition for Ohio. The only rust I could find was on the front of the wheel well on the drivers side. :yesnod:
I did look inside also. It had a Hurst "T-Bar" shifter as my dad called it. :icon_smile_big:
I just got home from school, and the guy works late as I said, so the pics probably wont come for a couple of hours.

dads_69

Cody, much respect for you buddy. Please don't compare wingkidpunk to Cody. Trespassing, yep, sure sounds like it to me. Aren't photos taken of someones private property illegal w/o permission? Do you have big $$ to buy the car even if it is for sale?
if not, trespassers will be terminated.  :nana:
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

Yeah, I think so. That's exactly why I'm getting into the habit of asking people, unless the house looks creepy...then I take a quick picture and leave. I recently found a '67 Charger and I asked the owner if I could take pictures. I have around 12 pictures, I just need to upload them onto my computer. Anyways, my computer class is almost over, I'm off to Auto Shop.

OK, I get the idea. No more without the guys permission. :yesnod:

Sorry guys. I did grab a pic from the driveway, but wont post them, and delete them from my camera. Tomorrow, I get out of school early, and my dad said we might run down to the guys house and try to catch him again. I couldnt afford the car if it was for sale, but it still a good find. :2thumbs:

Doesn't hurt to ask. You never know. Maybe you can save for it or work it off or something. If not pass the info on if is up for sale and maybe someone else on here can get it.

Don't get discouraged.....just go up and talk to the guy....but don't ask if HIS is for sale, but if he knows of any others around that may be.
Guys with Mopars generally know where other Mopars are that you may not know about.
Plus, sometimes these guys turn into a great resource down the road for parts and help.....maybe even a friend

My sister collects fossils, and we were cutting up dead trees on our farm, and she dug up the creek. :icon_smile_big:
Yes, my dad was in a hurry, and didnt want me to hold him up, so I just barely snapped this before he backed out.

Update: Dad now edited out. No arguments over that. Only the car. :icon_smile_big:
