The car pictured on the trailer has a date in the lower right corner of 7-14-2003. That should have been a red flag!

Funny I just noted the Dana is sitting in front of the car.  I know when he got the car it did not have the dana in it.... I just had it gone through.

ACUDANUT

Well, we know who owns and did own it. However, they have no control of stolen pic's taken of it.  Alot of pictures of cars are downloaded from e-bay and such and WHAM, some jerk claims the car is "HIS" and burns others who would like to own it.  :brickwall:

Wow, I remember a couple threads about this stuff that I was involved in(because I knew the original owner of the car)

Here's some other threads for you just in case this car(not Charger4404spds)  pops up once again.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

The gates closed, did they? I guess we all have to learn the hard way every now and then. Oh, and TUFFCAT, that kitty looks baked!

HKCharger

sorry for your loss.

Where did you send the money to? Physical address?

Getting burned sucks. The RCMP know, but I was hoping they would get involved when I was still in touch with the guy. They are too slow to catch these scamming bastards. I let them know & they could of set something up, but decided to dag there asses. I only have an address that he live in a year ago, because that was the address he gave me. I have a phone number , but he cut it off. Can you trace mail that was forwarded from an old address? Can you not use the bank account information? I would like to hunt him down ,but how.

Hemidoug

If you really want to catch this creep hire a Private Investigator....It may cost you some more $$$$ but you would get your pound of flesh. These sumbags figure it will never catch up to them. A good ass beating would solve that. :yesnod:

Now there's an idea whose time has come.  We set up some kind of cross-forum, multi make fund that is used to keep some thug/private investigator/ bounty hunters on retainer and whenever some scumbag scams a car guy on the net, they go into action.  How many beatings do you think it would take for these a-holes to get the message?

charge-it

Would you take $7.500.00 for it? All kidding aside, hopefully someone finds those people and beats the money he owes everyone out of his hide.

The first thing I notice is that car is worth way more than $6500 :Twocents:
