Ok, I don't have all of the details yet, but dad picked me up a flyer today and I should be at his house tomorrow.  As of right now, the 2nd Annual Hazzard Homecoming will be Sunday, Sept. 7th.  9:00 AM - till its over (or the cops come)  Admission is $10/ car or $5 for spectators.  Drive in style movies when it gets dark, same as last year.  All proceeds to benefit the Mine Hill First Aid Squad.    It will be at the same place it was last year, in Mine Hill, NJ.  Some of you from the board attended last year and everyone seemed to have a blast.  Last year Byron Cherry (Coy Duke) was there signing items and this year he will be there again with another fellow cast member....... Sheriff Little who was played by Don Pedro Colley.

Any question please contact the person runnig it at 973-945-7628.

Hope to see ya there!

Due to problems Randy had with the town, the location had to be moved to Andover, NJ.  The new address is 252 Brighton Rd.   Andover, NJ 07821.  This was a last minute problem and Randy was lucky enough to be able to get another place on such short notice.  But at least the FUN will continue.

Great time at the show, thought it would have been a bigger event but we still enjoyed and visted friends in the area while we were up from the shore.   we'll be back next year with our cars

Tom,

Thanks for posting the pics.  I indavertently forgot my digital camera home but mom was nice enough to bring hers.  Now I just need to get her camera and download the pics.

Mopar0166,

The turnout was probably down this year cause of the last minute change in location cause the town of Mine Hill, NJ was giving Randy a hard time about doing a "benefit" for their first aid squad.  Last year they really had a huge turn out.

This year I had a blast meeting up with some old friends again, talking for lenthy periods of time with Don Pedro and Byron about the show and cars and everything under the sun.  These two people were about as down to earth as you could get.

The most unexpected, and probably fun thing of the whole event, was that a NJ state police trooper showed up.  See the picture above with Tom spread out on the hood.  No, Tom did not have him come in behind him at the show, but this guy just drove in to see what was going on.  After some people talked to him, things were arranged as you can see.  When I get the pictures from my moms camera, there will be an even better one with this trooper.  (No he is not eating a donut in the pic)

Hopefully Randy will have it again next year at his house without any issues from the town as he has a small race track there, a pool, and also will probably have drive in style movies plus more.

Other pictures? Alrighty then lol.
Oh Bri as for the trooper, well I had a few & figured what the heck he seems cool lemme ask'em if he'll pull in back of my General figuring he'll say "no I'll get in trouble" or "Thats not proper" well he turned to me & said "Where ya want me to park?" I was caught off guard & was like right there & he did ! Very cool cop.

The picture Brian spoke of that cooler than the one of me, well Byron saw what was going on & after 3 seconds in the limelight with my car & walked away  & by then Byron was runnin up on the scene and when the trooper saw him he got right out walked up & put him in a police hold. All the while Byron was doing his schtick saying things like, "it wasnt me" and pointing & saying "it was him".
