does any one of you  know how many white hat specials were made in1969. what their colors and  engines were. if you know the production numbers. i would appreciate it

Chad L. Magee

I don't know the specific production numbers on the WHS Chargers for 1969, but I can tell you that TDC registry only had a little over a hundred of them registered a few years ago (including mine).  You could get a WHS with the 318-2bbl., 383-2bbl. and the 383-4bbl. engines only, typically in lighter colors (gold, copper, etc) according to the ad I saw on them.  Mine orginally was ordered with the 383-4bbl., automatic in T5 (tan vinyl roof and interior).  I do not know if anyone has the specifics on the WHS broken down into color groups other than known cars registered.........

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

when i was at the power tour  in milwaukee. i met a guy who came from new york state and his 69  white hat was blue [ b5?].and a 383 4v i think it was a 4 speed too.  i was suprised to see it in that color. i've always heard most were green [f8?] mine is gold[y4] 3834v 4 speed.  i don't know how rare it makes it.

Was the WHS a trim package?  How can you tell if your car is a WHS? and What years and models offered WHS?  I remember the adds, but just not sure what they entailed.

What is the code for the WHS?
A41 for the 69 model year

You could get this option in any 69 model year color but ONLY on the base XP models---NOT on the XS R/T or XX 500/Daytona models.

This option package included.....

    # Vinyl roof in black, white, tan or green
    # Simulated wood-grained steering wheel
    # Hood-mounted turn signals
    # Light Group
    # LH remote mirror
    # Whitewall tires
    # Deep-dish Wheel Covers

Did you post the wrong b-cast sheet?
I say that because there's no A41 on that one.Or for that matter no A01 light group.

The light group is part of the WHS.The "L" section has no codes at all.

cool! are you going to have it at monster mopar?  I spent some time under and in that car, infact that car led me to the purchase of my 68 and got me started on this site.  I would love to see what came of the car.  I know the 440 that was to go back in it was just left at the machine shop.

There is plenty for the family to do in the StLouis area, if they don't want to hang around the mopars all weekend.
