904 flex plate question

I bought an aftermarket flex plate for my 360.  It is a B&M.  I had it put on with my engine build.  I am currently mounting the tranny to the block.  My question has to do with clearance.   There is maybe about 1/8 of an inch clearance between the head of the flex plate mounting bolt to the cam shaft slug (little circle in the casting rear of block for cam shaft).  Is this normal?  Is this enough clearance?  Do the make mounting bolts that have a "shorter"  less thick bolt head for this purpose?

If your bolt heads are the factory thickness that's as thin as they get.

The original bolts are thinner than those used elsewhere.  Is that what you're using?

Yes, Mancini has the correct bolts as does your dealer.
