broke off the 'bat' stud on the starter motor

day-um !!! I was installing the harnesses I took off for repair and when I was hooking up the battery cable to the starter stud, it broke off.
Maybe I should stop eating spinach  :slap: j/k

There is some threat left but maybe not enough to re-attach the wire.


Can the stud be fixed?
Do I need to use the plastic washer on the stud or can it be left out so I got more space for thinner bolts to try and reinstall?

You can probably get a replacement stud from an automotive electrical repair shop and change it out yourself, you might want to replace the smaller stud as well while you're at it.
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.
