Does anybody have a product number for a upper rad hose that can be used with a 22" rad and 383-440 block?  Doesn't need to be the correct hose, just any that will fit.

A while back, Year One listed a repro hose as follows:

1966-70 B-body models with 361,383,440 V8, and 22" wide radiator with driver's side inlet.
FR244  1966-70 B-body  $28.95ea (old price from 2000)

How big of a hurry are you in to get one?

I just bought one last week at Advance Auto Parts. It is part number 70369. The sku number is 5195977. It`s a perfect fit. If your old hose has a spring in it, save it, the new hose doesn`t come with one. :2thumbs:

I know, the top hose is the pressure hose and the bottom hose is the suction hose. My old hose had a spring and so did my friends 68 Coronet R/T so I re-used my spring anyways. The price for the new hose was around $11.00 out the door.

Got a rookie question.  What purpose does the spring in the hose serve?
