dumb Q, how to remove the dash cluster on a 69 Charger?

I am still waiting on the shop manual but in the middle of doing the electric upgrade.
Can someone explain me how they pull the dash cluster out so you gain acces to the gauges?
I removed the screws on the front plate, it moves but it won't come out.

guess I was a little lazy this morning and just posted this Q.  :slap:
Anyway I did a search and read about loosen the steering column a little and remove the speedometer cable so the dash can come out enough to work on the back side.
