Wow, that is a neat rig!  It's definitely a '66-67 or newer due to the single headlight, and from the shape of the front fenders it looks like a C700 or heavier.

Also looks like he's lowered the ride stance, although I don't know if that would help or hurt how the truck rides.  I needed to keep the ride height of mine at the stock 4' to work with loading docks, but with his setup as a carhauler only, it shouldn't matter as long as the ride/performance isn't affected.

What's the drivetrain?  :scratchchin:

I've had withdrawal symptoms from my truck, as it's been out of action since April.  Next weekend I'm supposed to pick it back up though, so I'll get my fix again.

Bet your cousin has the same problem I have - doesn't matter what's on the back of the truck, whatever it's hauling is almost ignored in comparison to the truck's level of attention.  Great looking truck, and I'm glad to see that there are more of them out there.

It's a 413  (or is it a 426?  jeez now I don't recall).  It was a water truck for a local township Volunteer fire department, if you look closely the sign on the door is unchanged.  It had a fairly pampered life and he got it sans tank from a township auction so he removed the siren and lights and stashed those and had the hauler body added.  The Chrysler didn't start out so nice but he restored it and is using it while his 70 Road Runner that he's had since we were teens  is being restored.  Currently the engine from the Road Runner is in the C boat but that of course is a temporary thing.
