Ok so I have a 68 Charger body. I'm not so familiar with suspensions. What diameter Torsion bars would be decent for smooth roads in MN. Nothing to bad like NY streets. And what parts should I replace with it? I'm looking at 2 different kinds of torsion bars. on from year one and the other from http://www.justsuspension.com/. And a front suspension kit from http://www.justsuspension.com/ also.
Here are the sites. check them out and tell me what you think. Or if you have something to recommend.

Most here might recommend from a .96" to a 1.06" t-bar.   That range seems to be popular and most like the way they handle with them.    You might also want to check here:  www.firmfeel.com   They have alot of heavy duty front end stuff as well and have a good rep.

Smooth Roads in MN? :scratchchin:  This a different state than the one I grew up in? :scratchchin:   :shruggy:

Personally do either the .96 or 1.06 T-bars.

Check the dealership, they still carry the T-Bars at a much lower cost than listed above. :Twocents:

As a "follow on" question -- so if I lower the front of the car by loosening the tension on the torsion rods, I assume that will effectively lower the spring rate as well?

In other words, if I go with Firm Feels 1.16 bars with an effective 336 lb spring rate, by lowering the car, I will lower the spring rate?

Is there any way other than dropped spindles to lower the ride height without affecting spring rate?

Mr. Angry is fairly low I do not think he is running the 1.16 bars.... Car is lower to 1" above the bump stops, personally I do not think the rate of the Bar will be lower it is what it is.  Mike seems to be very happy with the performance,  I have spoken to him as I was going to RUN 2" drop spindles and he had talked me pretty much out of that Idea.
