Bought an N.O.S one on ebay for 125.00 for my stock 69.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I was lucky enough to find an NOS one for my 67 as well.

I like the whip antenna idea. My car is going to have a Cobra CB, but the rear window plug of the daytona makes putting it where the General's was impossible, so I might have to get a dual use antenna, and that looks like it would work!

Anybody run a hidden antenna? I am going to eliminate the antenna on my charger since I am cleaning up the lines a bit, but I'd still like to get radio. I know Dakota digital makes one.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, but don't worry I made your horn louder."

Chatt69chgr

The NOS 69 antenna was a extendable type made out of brass and chrome plated.  In the early 70's they went with the one piece stainless steel mast.  Both screw into the same base.  You can find the later stainless steel types in the junkyards still but not so with the extendables.  Get a stainless variety and use it until you can find one of the extendables.

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...
