I know its not a charger, but I was curious is you guys heard of a 69 coronet R/T WS23L9A post car. I thought all 440 R/T cars were hardtops. Its rusting away in a RI junkyard sitting on the roof of a chrysler. These R/T 440 cars are really rare and there was two of them there. The post car has a 440 engine still in it with its 727 and sure grip rear. I can see it was raced because it has slicks and headers still on it. Of course someone stole the fender tag. Sorry no pics, but may be there next week and will get some.

Very strange....considering the "23" designation in the VIN means "two door HARDTOP".
If it was a post car like you say, it should read "21".

They are with the exception of converibles. As stated above, 23 = hard top. It will be interesting to see the pictures.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
