Who runs an x-pipe exhaust

Who out there runs an x-pipe exhaust and do you like it and the way it sounds. I hear a lot of story's about the x-pipe and the way it sounds some people like it and some don't. I have a 69 charger with a 440 and a 3" h-pipe flowmaster exhaust ( I should have got a 2.5" ) I got rid of the flowmaster mufflers and put on some magnaflows and it does sound better but still kinda loud at lower speeds. I was thinking about taking the h-pipe out and putting an x-pipe in, do you guys think this will change the sound of my exhaust and make it a little quieter  I know it may not change it a lot but do you think it worth doing Its either try the x-pipe or get a smaller exhaust, and I don't really what to scrap the whole exhaust and buy another one what do you guys think, Alan

The x-pipe will quiet it down but change the sound, slightly. Personally, i like the "X" sound

I have a 3" x-pipe with mandrel bent 3'' exhuast the entire way back sounds awesome. I also have flowmaster deltaflows, but its still loud. The x-pipe gives it a deep screaming sound.

What mufflers do you have on your tti exhaust, and what kind of tone does it have. I might be getting old, but how loud is your exhaust. Alan

Got Pypes x pipe, dynomax ultraflow mufflers and TTI headers, 2 1/2"
Sounds great!

Schumacher headers into 2.5" Pypes system with their Street-Pro mufflers. I think it sounds great, my wife thinks it's too loud, so it's just about right.

Your stated goal is to get quieter: I dont think the X will be noticeably quieter than the H on a 3". Certainly not for the money will spend to make the change. You might have better luck quieting the car by replacing just the tailpipes with 2-1/2", but I've never tried it (I LIKE em loud).

Dynomax super turbos. It make noise but its not loud. It has a nice ildeing rumble.
