I was checking the spark this morning from the coil with 1/4" gap to ground and it has a mixture of orange color with blue'ish white color.  About 50/50.   Should there be any orange color or should it be all blue/white?  It's gotten hard to start when cold or hot and I noticed that my terminal on one side of the ballist is loose and wiggles. Can this be the problem ?

You should be getting a blue spark. A weak coil could cause starting problems, especially in cold weather. If you still get an orange spark with a new coil, check the pick-up coil in the distributor [if you have electronic ignition]

So no orange color at all from the coil ?
