Hey Guys,

I finally got around to making a cardomain site for the 68 CHarger R/T that one of my co-workers is letting me restore for him.  Pics seem too big to post here, but here's the site:  http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3143982  and there's only a few for now.  I don't have the build sheet handy, but I decoded his fender tag and came up with this:

CAR: Dodge Charger R/T 2 Door Sports Hardtop
ENGINE: 440cid 4-bbl HP V8
TRANSMISSION: 3-Speed Automatic
TIRES: F70x14 Red Side Wall, Steel Belted
BUILD DATE: June 18.
AXLE: 3.23 Rear Axle Ratio
INTERIOR: Charger Trim Grade, Vinyl Bucket Seats. Light Blue Interior.
PAINT: Monotone Light Blue Metallic Paint.
OTHER: Light Blue Metallic Upper Door Frame Color.

MOLDINGS:
25: Drip Rail Mouldings
30: Body Belt Mouldings
78: Wheel Lip Mouldings

ABC OPTIONS:
A1: 26in Radiator
H1: Power Brakes
R1: AM Radio
S1: Air Conditioning
X2: Tinted Windshield Only
Y6: Black Vinyl Top (I thought it was blue, but I guess it's so faded that it just looks blue)

abc OPTIONS:
a6: Console
b4: Bucket Seats
m6: Driver's Outside Remote Operated Mirror

I'm working on arranging some transportation from his place in VA to me in TX.   He's got a funny attitude about this restoration.  He'll say in the same sentence, "Well, we want it done right, you know, but at the same point, I don't want to spend a lot of money...." :eyes:  I keep telling him "done right" and "not spending a lot of money" don't usually go in the same sentence.   But after much frank talking, we finally agreed on what he wants the car to be after it's done, so he's happy.   I'll be updating that site when the car gets down here.  Standby for more Charger related questions to come!

Meanwhile, work continues on the 68 Road Runner and I should have that in epoxy primer by the end of the month if all goes well.   I spent the rest of last month before I left on my trip stripping the fenders and engine compartment.  Fun stuff :brickwall:.  It's no wonder why shops charge so much!

Cheers
