braces inside doors of 69?

I am just wondering if anyone has had the same issue,  I was going through the inside of the doors and cleaning things up. In L&R doors I found what looks like some window brace connected to a post just hanging loose.  When I pulled the parts out, it looks like the projections (these parts appear to have been projection welded on) pulled through the window rail and the welds popped.  For right now I left them out.  Have any of you had the same problem and what did you do to fix them?

Thanks,
Over?! its not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!...Hell no! and its not over now!..(Germans? Pearl Harbor?...shut up, he's on a roll)

You talking about the bracket with a loop end that goes on the bottom of the vent window arm that goes over a post at the bottom of the door? I had mine tig welded back on.

Those are the ones.  I will probably do the same when I can find someone to do the work.  It must be a common problem.

I think they were held in place with a couple of sopt welds only so its common they break off.

Ya, they were projection welded on originally.  They couldn't hold up to the years of door closing. Mine had a piece of foam in the loop, not sure if it came from the factory that way or someones idea of trying to stop a rattle.  I have them saved as a project for this winter.
