They are real tough to find and if you do find one it won't be cheap, Minw was all bent up and I started looking for a replacement, I ended up fixing the one I had.

Got mine for the '73 from Stephens Performance. Good used straight R/T panel.
Under construction 1973 Charger SE/RT resto-mod.

Man I remember when you could buy those new from the dealer for $35 bucks!!!!!! Don't forget 71/72 are different from 73/74's. There was a guy that made dies and was stamping out the cut outs if you set him your panel

rudyjrusa

i think AMD will have them very soon for a 73/74 charger.

The 73-74 are more available and affordable - but still not cheap.  It is very easy to convert a 73-74 to a 71-72 by simply welding in patches over the HUGE bumper bracket cut-out.  If you want to look more correct, you can also cut-out the small notches that the 71-72 pieces have.  That's what I did to mine and it looks great. When I got the car it had 73-74 bumpers and rear valance on it.  The bumpers have been replaced with the correct ones.

Thanks...  Nothing special needed - except a little patience.  It mounts exactly the same.

If you can get a nice straight 3rd gen rear valance with cut outs for $100 get it! Stephens performance quoted me $550 for one less than a year ago.  I could sell them all day at Monster Mopar for $200 a pop.

I had the same problem that I did not want to spend big $ for a valance for my 71 R/T so i made my own. I have attached a few shots .

I just cut half moons and flanged them 1/4" with vice grips and hammered them smooth. Nobody has ever noticed - of course the secret is out now.
