The scoop from a fiberglass lift off, and a white stripe. What do you think?

I forget the episode but in one of them someone remarks about someone having "A Dodge like Boomhauer's" Wish i could remember which one it was.

wiki says 68 dodge coronet.  :shruggy:

Have to agree with Troy a little though, doesn't really look like one and the crap ain't real anyway. :Twocents:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I think that was the episode where Luan dates Boomhauer. It was on Yesterday, but I just caught the car, then I had stuff to do. It showed the car in a really good spot. It had side pipes.

Explains why you can't see side-markers. They would be to small to be practical to draw. :scratchchin:

What I meant was - you couldn't get that hood scoop on a Coronet (especially not one with stripes since that would make it an R/T) and you certainly couldn't get it on a 68. It was only on the 69.5 A12 (440 Six Pack) Super Bees. The spoiler obviously isn't stock and neither is the outside mirror so maybe originality wasn't a high priority.

There are several threads about Chargers and other Mopars in the Simpsons episodes. It's pretty cool how many there are.

I know that! The six pack hood was only available on the A12 option 1969.5 Super Bees. The A12 also included stuf like special order gears, special wheels, and other performance parts. But whos to say BoomHauer isnt a customizer? :icon_smile_big:

FWIW:

As I was finishing up the last season of the wire last night, and noticed in the second to last episode that when the Baltimore Parking and Traffic was towing abandoned cars as per the incomming Mayors request... the car they winch up on the flatbed is a 1970 or '71 Barracuda Convert.
it looked burned and or rusted pretty bad and they only show it from the front to the windhield header...

I'm just say'in - cause we care about this crap right?..  :shruggy:

I think I might remember that. :scratchchin:

Ghoste

As far as the hood scoop goes, I wouldn't imagine BoomHauer to be a purist anyway.  He seems more like the type who'd spend a Saturday afternoon in a salvage yard looking for cool things that would fit his car.

Sounds like me, (One of) my brothers, my uncle, and my dad!

Hands down!  Boomhauer is the bad ass of the whole show!!! :yesnod:

welp, I had this - and thought I'd add it... even though no one cares about this stuff anyhow...  :shruggy:
BTW: I caught The Venture Bros. last night I had taped it evey sunday for the past Mo. and finally got around to seeing them,.. And Brock's Charger is back,.. and the wood dash, shows it to be an S.E. R/T. They (the artist/s) really know the '69 charger well, as demonstrated by the perfect seat pattern...

I was watching The Dish the other night on the style network and they had a third gen in a Rimmel Mascara ad.
