Hey gang...
Me ONCE again.............. Where's a good source for weather-proofing/sealant/caulking. From the factory it looks like a black and/or white weatherstrip material or caulk that was used for things such as the rear exterior quarter extensions, the "HEMI" badges on the doors, etc.. Looks like for the most part, the material was packed into the retaining nut so the material "squished out" against the sheetmetal and hence sealed the rain from getting in....

Thanks again............

I have been using 3M 'brushable' auto caulk sealant. its in a plain lookin blue and white can, from the local auto paint supplier. it goes on a little goopy, but you can wipe of excess with lacquer thinner and it looks just like the OG stuff once its painted over.the material itsel is a sort of off white color.

Troy,

go to a parts store and get some 3M strip caulk.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
