Hi guys,

I really need to see what a 15 x 8 rallye rim looks like with a trim ring on it. I'm about to get some rims for my 71 Charger and I'm told that if I go 15 x 8 I will have to use a 7 inch trim ring and i want to see if it looks OK.

Does anyone have some pictures I could see.....PLEASE. :shruggy:

Thanks, :2thumbs:

Heres a pic of my challenger with 15x8s, used a 4 1/2" back space and they work fine, been on the car for 17 years. I should have gone with a 5" back space and could have run bigger than 275-60s

Thanks VERY much,

I've posted questions about this a few times but never get and pics replied. What size trim ring have you used  Are they the ones normally used on 7 inch rims or are they specific to 8 inch rims. They look like they fit nicely in the wheel. My concern is not so much with backspacing and the like, but rather how the larger rims "look" when a trim ring is attached.

they are for a 7 inch rim notice on the front they fit in closer to the center, I got these from Stockton wheel when I had the wheels made about 17 years ago for this car. I also tried them on m 69 charger and you could go with a 10 inch wheel with 5 1/2 inch back spacing as long as the tire doesnt buldge out to much.
