Is a '73 B-body unit the same as the '71 C-body??

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're

The boxes, themselves, will interchange but I believe the Pitman arms are different and they won't interchange due to the difference in shaft diameters.

The change in diameter came in '72.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Change in 72..... so then a 71 C-body PS unit DOES have the same output shaft diameter as a 73 B-body, just the pitman arm needs to be swapped? Or after 72 the shaft diameter becomes the same?

From what I can tell the boxes are the same large sector between 71C and 73B.    Moog K7072 pitman for C body and K7076 pitman for the B.
