Well, I have to publicly thank MoparJohn for this one as it would have slipped by me without me even noticing.  After moving into my new house up in West Milford, NJ, I didn't realize how lucky I was going to be.  I was only have an hour away from an event of a life time!  Thats right folks, John Schneider, better known as Bo Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show was at Franklin-Sussex Automall signing autographs two Saturdays ago.  I have never met before that day and let me say, he is as pleasant and personable as you can get.  Stardome has not ruined this person at all.  We were supposed to only be able to get one autograph per person but he was nice enough and was pretty doing as much as you had.  My mom and dad were there as well and I think we had a total of like 10 Dukes items to be signed and he did them all.  Hell, we didn't give him all of the stuff and he asked for the rest to sign.  Now that is a stand up guy in my book.  Here are some pics of the day.  The 2 hr + wait in line was well worth it.

Thanks again for the heads up MoparJohn.

THE COLONEL

John is about as nice as they come.  I've met him a few times myself, and even had the pleasure of him driving The Colonel back to the Opryland Hotel at Dukesfest '07!!  Geat pics too.  He is one of the harder guys to get for an autograph.  CONGRATS!!!! :coolgleamA:

Well, since John Schneider towered over me, yes, I certainly did feel like a kid and I am 5'10".  But, absolutely, the whole experience totally blew me away.  Now I can't wait to see Byron Cherry (again, saw him two years ago) and Don Pedro at the 2nd annual Hazzard Homecoming not that far from me.  (See the thread I started over in the upcoming car show section for more details)

Yeah, that's JS for you.

Not everyone likes his movies or the way he sells a car, but he's still about as nice & personable to fans as he feasibly can be.

Well, I can't say anything bad about him.  He didn't cave in the roof of my charger and all of his TV shows I've liked.  Although I have not seen Colier and company yet. :slap:
