Yankee flag on the body and Rebel flag on the roof - Kinda clashes, like wearing 70's track shorts with the US flag and a t-shirt with the stars and bars.

I don't like it, but I don't think it was intending to be a "good" paintjob.  The guy claims he painted it that way as a response to 09/11, so I thinks it's just fine...

Well, it that's what he says, it's his only saving grace.
I find it a bit "loud" though.
He could just fly a flag on his house or yard and do as much good.

Didn't take long for that right rear, rear valence to start rusting if it was just painted couple years ago.  It looks like some of my work. ;)

Not at all. Doesn't look good now and wouldn't when it was done either.

Not a bad concept, but could have been done better.

Speaking of 9/11 being remembered on cars, I got chills one day when I saw a car on the interstate with the license plate FLGHT 93.

Im just as patriotic as the next guy but doing something like that on a classic car just doesn't make sence to me.
Maybe to a newer car where it wouldn't affect the value of the vehicle but not on a classic car.
Sorry. My vote is no thanks for this one

It wouldn't be so bad, it had a normal paint job, then he put Ol Glory on the roof, instead of the rebel flag.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Wow, I think that custom '67 is the same car that used to live across the street from me in Mesa Arizona twenty years ago....  Does anyone know about that car ?

Here is a flag car that I like...

It's a quicky design,.. with the curves of the charger hardly exploited to it's best potental,..
The John Greenwood Corvettes did a great job of showing the colors in an imaginative way but this one looks like a fast tape and paint job..
larger red stipes with a blue roof with the stars would have looked alot better... IMHO...  :icon_smile_approve:
