 I 'm with mike , I went to the grand canyon two years ago and found out i developed virtigo later in life . I was clinging to the rails for dear life . I hated even driving on the roads to the mesa verde   :Twocents:

That would be one hell of a hike.  :o   As to whether I'd do it, I'd love to, but probably not. Only because of how badly deteriorated some of that walkway is. It's a shame it was let go, because the views are incredible. (That's what happens when halpag gets the park maintenace contract.) The note on that page said it was built in 1901, I'd like to see how they built that way back then. I bet they didn't have OSHA around.  :lol:

Thats what i was thinking!  How did they get to the rock wall to drill in the kick brace supports?

Read something about that place not to long ago.  The government closed it off for awhile due to the detoriation but supposedly are going to restore as much as they can to make it safe so nobody falls through.
