General Ryan

Ha, let them buy em, the rest of the crap they have pimped out, they'll fit right into the "what a waste of time" catagory.

I'd like to see one of them get one, and turn it into a "new" age General with full FLAG paint, that'd open a bunch of eyes, a black guy in a blinged out car with a rebel flag on top HAHA

TheGhost

God, I hate rappers, and bling bling shit.....
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I can't imagine a more fitting place for the '06 than in the hands of a bunch of low lifes.  ::) How much more pathetic can the '06 saga get?

Ah! There's one of the hooligans now. You mean pull your heads out, right? Relax Mojo. Some people are actually able to multi-task their way through life. Don't assume you completely know someone based on what you see here.

ok i hate to be the one to say it but realy now i think a lot of you people here are a bit closed mined. not to the new charger that thing is just not a charger its a nice looking car but not a charger. but about the bilng bling stuff and what not. i mean realy back in your younger day didnt your parents or some of the old timers complain about slang you guys used and stuff.??? im not saying its a good thing or what not but i do like a few rap and hip hop songs out . some of them mean a lot you know its not all drugs and gun and bitches realy it gos deeper then that you just have to lisen to the words and under stand what they mean. as far as makeing some cars ugglyer like they do i agree but some look kinda cool too...

Ever since my youth, I've always consistently hated limp-wristed inner city pansies trying to act tough to cover for their latent homosexuality.   This is the car for them.   I just wish they had called it something more urban, like "the Dodge Angrywuss" or something more specific to that demographic.

I find it funny that Daimler-Chrysler snubbed the Dukes of Hazzard movie, but they embrace the rappers.  The vast majority of the US is still rural, y'know.

I just don't like fakiness and angry people, that's all.  Rap sounds like whining.  "Yeah, boy, I'm all tough, nahsayin'?"

I just want to say, "There there, urban tough guy, it'll be alright.  Turn that little frown upside down."
Matt. 14:8 (KJV) "And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, 'give me here John Baptist's head in a Charger.'"

Brock Samson

So you don't like fakiness and angry people?.. don't like whining?.. Don't like urban inner city pansies? dont like people trying to act tough?
   Well remove the plank brother.

btw: I too think it's strange and they'd shun the General but embrace the whatever it is there they're embracing..
but I guess that's the trouble with "Political Correctness".

    The Chrysler Group.
The American arm of the German-American conglomerate has been living high off of the hog with its 300/300C for such a long time now that things are beginning to be frayed around the edges. With the inevitable slowdown hitting its star car, look to Chrysler to prop up the car with special editions and their last trump card - the convertible version. But that isn't going to fix what's really ailing Chrysler, because they have a product "hole" that's growing by the hour. The Magnum sport wagon is an excellent piece, but it's a glorified niche player in the market.

QUOTE
The big question mark is the Charger. Chrysler marketing operatives are desperate to impart the ruboff "buzz" from the 300C on to its stylistically-challenged four-door, but as one southern Dodge Dealer told us, "That dog won't hunt even with a T-Bone." Chrysler is touting the hip-hop community's embracing of the Charger, but after entering into a formal agreement with Dub magazine at last fall's SEMA show, their credibility is shot. Are the rappers really frothing at the mouth to get their hands on the Charger? Who knows? We don't know how much of it is true and how much of it is Auburn Hills-orchestrated and calculated spin.

Besides the Charger, what do the folks in Auburn Hills have coming? Let's see, the Power Wagon Ram Truck and the 2006 model year's answer to the question that absolutely no one's asking - the unfortunate Jeep Commander. This painful product lull is going to last until Chrysler gets their new smaller car ready, which showed such promise in concept form. But that's a long way away. So, this fall is shaping up to be a double whammy of bad news for Chrysler and its dealers - with no employee discount pricing and no compelling hot products to boast about. As we like to say around here, "not good."

    Well remove the plank brother.

You first.  That is if my hasty conclusion that you were angry when you typed that is valid.

Sheesh.   That reply would have made perfect sense if there had been a shred of anger in what I said.   Is there a "proper" way to express dislike for something?   Nothing I said was said angrily, just observationally (if that's a word).   It's like you have to walk on eggshells on the internet.   I sometimes forget to include disclaimers in many of my posts, so if any urban inner city pansies were offended, I apologize.

If I were to drive around with a bullhorn shouting about how much I dislike rap music, now THAT would be ironic/hypocritical.

Quote from article-
“Though the Charger is being heavily promoted to the NASCAR crowd, the interest from the hip-hop world could also give it crossover appeal among different demographic and racial groups.”

So now there marketing cars around racial groups? What is that all about???? thats it...i'm gonna sue!

Actually as a 'new' car its really not to bad...its a shame they all look so alike.....
but I have to agree its NOT a charger.
It seems a bit silly to me to hate something just because you don't agree with the name or the reasoning behind it- for instance I think Bob Geldolf was a bit off -track calling his daughter 'Fifi Tixabelle' but I'm sure you guys wouldn't hold it against her! (something else maybe ..if the opportunity arose - sorry bad pun)
And so.. some rappers we've never heard of like it...good! - someone has to.....
Lets face it not all rappers are black gun wielding pimps (not all...) there is at least one white father of one daughter I can think of without even trying.
How about we don't turn this forum into just a 06 slagging place & have a few generous thoughts now & then!
