When idiotic rappers got ahold of them. :eyes:

After I opened the link and read it, it's sad to say it's all about image. But I think that's how it's always ben. It's pretty simple just come up with a product doesn't matter what it is and put some one next to it who is cool and tuff, or sexy (gotta show the cleavage) and you will sell. Depending on who your target is. Let's say you sell guitar's well you don't want to have a guy with long hair in the commercial that went out in the 80's early 90's gotta have some one with a lot of tattoos and piercing's all over them who can't play a chord. But that's what's in so you gotta do it in order to sell or else you will go out of business. Gotta follow trends to be rich. Which I am far from being wealthy.

Sorry for my ranting

ok i hate to be the one to say it but realy now i think a lot of you people here are a bit closed mined. not to the new charger that thing is just not a charger its a nice looking car but not a charger. but about the bilng bling stuff and what not. i mean realy back in your younger day didnt your parents or some of the old timers complain about slang you guys used and stuff.??? im not saying its a good thing or what not but i do like a few rap and hip hop songs out . some of them mean a lot you know its not all drugs and gun and bitches realy it gos deeper then that you just have to lisen to the words and under stand what they mean. as far as makeing some cars ugglyer like they do i agree but some look kinda cool too...

Hey ChargerKid, glad you made it to the site.    I have actually listened to the lyrics some, some are ok, most do seem to have the same lyrics, something like, "I got my 24's, tv's in my doors, tek in my waste, give the hoes a taste, blah, blah, blah," - like Chris Rock said, they will put rims on a toaster.  (sorry if that sounds racist.)

Tint the windows and get some 24's, wow.

People have done worse I suppose.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

The Chrysler Group. The first Iacocca spots with Jason Alexander were bad, but the new one with Snoop Dogg is just flat-out grim. Chrysler Group marketing brainiacs admitted that the first spots didn't resonate with young people (Oh, really? Now that's a shock - ed.), so they decided that pairing Snoop with the crusty Chrysler chairman from yesteryear would be brilliant. It's not. Not even close, as a matter of fact. It's one of those "wince" ads that you wish would just go away. Young (and some older) people already know what Snoop's scam is - he's a mercenary who never met a deal he didn't like, and he'll use his self-proclaimed funkitudeiness to achieve whatever end necessary to broaden his bank account. And that's perfectly cool with us. The whole "Snoop" thing on its own is fine when put in perspective. But Snoop in a golf cart with Lee Iacocca? That's just plain stupid. Once again, the problem with the Marketing and PR types out in Auburn Hills is that they only listen to the brilliant cadence of their own thoughts - and no one in the room is sitting there off in the corner saying, what the f--- are you guys thinking? Some day this train wreck will be well and truly over, but until then we'll have to suffer a little longer - and thank our lucky stars for the "mute" button on our TV remotes.

BRAIN DEAD FLIPPIN' MAROONS!!! All of them... They're riding the tide of pop culture and embracing what they perceive as "hip and now"...funny how they align themselves with a rappin' racist who's lyrics include lewd a berating acts toward women and hating both cops and 'da man, but decided that "The Dukes of Hazzard" was too controversial. Bunch of hypocrites if you ask me...DODGE is dead. :icon_smile_dead:

DCX has no target. It wanders from having the 06 Creeder claiming it has nothing to do with it's past, then showing it in ads Drag Racing. The Snoop Dog ad is real funny.Snoop Dog is supposed to be this inner city tough guy who is playing Golf at a Country Club?I wonder how the Boys in da' hood feel about him going White Bread?I think they used to say Uncle Tom but now I think they would call him Cracker.
