G'day guys,

just interested to know if anyone might have some pictures of 71 Chargers with white vinyl tops ?

Specifically though, I'd really like to see Blue 71 Chargers with white tops. Reason being I have to put new vinyl on my car, and it was originally optioned with B5 blue, and a white vinyl roof.

Hope somebody might have some pics, and I'd really like opinions on what these cars look like in the flesh with white tops on them - we don't have many B Bodies down here. I have a few pics of mine at :

Thanks heaps for that - it's just what I was after.

The only thing that has me a little undecided is whether the white top will go with the Superbee stripes and Go Wing.

Do you think the white roof makes the car stand out a little more - would you recommend the change back to white ?

This was the first day out in the sun.

This was basically after it was all back together and done.

The top made a lot of difference after it was put on. Seemed to bring out the other parts of the car.

Thanks for the photo's and links - really helpfull.

I suppose the biggest worry is that the car looks good with the black, but I've got a chance to put the original white roofon, and I think they look pretty sharp with white - just not sure about the blue with stripes.

Anyway, I think the white will eventually get the nod. If there's any morepics out there please post them. In the meantime I've attached a picture of my car with it's new taillights/indicators. Here in Australia all the cars have amber rear indicators and they are completely independant of other lights - a fair bit of rewiring required.
