Bluetooth or Mental Patient?

I still can't get used to someone with a Bluetooth cell phone on the side of their head. 

When I first came in contact with someone using one back when they came out, my first thought was that the person was talking to me, or someone near them. I looked up to acknowledge, then noticed they weren't talking to me or a friend & just going about their business. My next instinct, was that they forgot to take their meds that day, & that they were talking to themselves. It was annoying, but after I got used to the scenario with a Bluetooth, it wasn't a big deal.

Until today, when a real mental patient was in the same aisle of the store I was in, & he was talking to himself. I assumed he had a Bluetooth & just ignored it, but after a few moments I realized there wasn't any electronic device attached to their head & got worried. 

So now I have no idea as to what any person who appears to be talking to themselves is, or what they're doing. Are they an electronic gadget lover? Are they talking to me? Are they talking to a nearby friend? Or are they talking to an imaginary friend?

Well, the way things are going, it's probably only a matter of time until people start getting the damn things implanted somewhere in their bodies.  Then you'll really have a hard time figuring out who's crazy or not.  Bob

It depends, if the person talking is an attractive female, then i'm sure they are talking to me.  Any other and they are using a bluetooth cell phone.

Just face it they're all nuts and if they're not nuts yet, the brain tumor their cell phone gives them will eventually make them go nuts!

Ther wife and i got new cell phones and she got us those "crazy person" bluetooths.
I kind of like it.especially when im driving the rubicon with the manual and a coke in the other hand.

last time I looked I wasn't ugly....I know I am not HOT or anything, but I do look somewhat ok......I use a bluetooth daily.  It is illegal to drive without a hands free device here in Cali. and the normal handsfree things suck.  I can barely hear and no one can hear me unless I hold the stupid mic to my mouth.

Last week, I thought some lady in the grocery line behind me said something to me , only to find out she was talking to ? on one of those stupid bluetooth things.

 Fri. Eve I was in the local Video store, and there were four folks in there carrying on conversations with no one, quite the surreal experiance...
cause video stores are a little like librarys kinda.. quiet, ya' know..
  i wasn't the only one in the store rolling their eyes,.. what was funny though, was the store managment (read youth behind the counter), put
the south park movie on, and when it starts out the teacher Mr. garrison is swearing cause he's says he's a *&^^!! woman!!!,.. and every one in the store started busting up,.. except the idiots on bluteeth...
