It sat in that garage for the last 15 years and never driven, man I get sick every time I look at the pictures of it. I didnt do a thing to it except slap a battery in it and it fired right up.  I ended up driving it to Carlisle and put it in the show last year without doing one thing to it. Lost the breaks in the middle of NY on the way home.

It's the car alarm that was put in it back in the 70's. It still worked and I used it quite often when I had it and boy was it loud. It was motion activated so if someone reached in it it would go off.

A 383 4-speed car with it's drivetrain still intact. I didn't have any money at the time to approach the guy with, so I didn't even bother asking about it...just drove by now & then to see if it was still there.

Actually, the following winter after the pics, that camper fell over...but luckily, it fell away from the car.

Apparently, it was "jambed in" in brown many years ago, then the deal went south & it got shelved at the body shop. That's why there's brown where the fender bolts go. First time this thing's had a straight left fender since when...1993?


Here's when I tried out my parts car fender on it last March. My cat was making sure I didn't screw it up.

He called me the next night from a local truck stop. Guess what?

How hard did he have to try.?   Those things run forever!  Even if you lose a radiator hose from downtown milwaukee and drive to the milwaukee mile racetrack with no coolant they still survive to drive all the way to St. Paul the next day...
