hi guys

  she's a cross between the joe dirt car or  a mad max machine but she's getting there . :boogie:

it took three days to get the nose where we wanted it . i trimmed it down so the space between the nose and the car is 1 inch . i'm very happy how it come  out.
  daytonalo had me nervous about the fender to nose contour but it was cool . it will need very little bondo on the sides . lights open and close well.
that nose is on there like a rock and i don't have the top radiator support bracket on yet . the stock one won't work . i have to build my own . thats tomorrows task. Rene

That is an Oscar wing . Rene cut that lip off and the nose must come back at least 1/2 inch . JUST A WARNING GUY'S , BOATING SEASON IS COMING TO AN END !!

thanks for the kind words guys .  man what a long strange trip it's been . it's a special day here .   :boogie: :boogie:   my wife had tears in her eyes when she saw it. she's a good egg and took many a road trip with me rounding up the parts. she knows what it means to me to have a wing car . tomorrow we start the bodywork.

yea , they'll be on there for awhile . someday i wanna paint her white with a red wing and stripe . white steel rims with dog dish caps and red line tires . thats years away . for now it's these wheels and flat black paint.  :cheers:

besides, it's just what i thunk would look sweet looking at his Clone incomplete...
i'd probably have a different choice at any other time...

sometimes i miss, being at the point of making choices on my project/s but i'm at a stage in my life where, everythings in good working order.

but, it would be awesomely sweet to be at the stage of choosing a color on my nearly done DAYTONA clone..  :yesnod:

thanks for the kind words guys . there appreciated . this project has taken a lot longer then i thought it would  , but now i can see the top of the mountain . it's very rewarding to see it go from a plan to reality .
