Well, I know this may not be a topic a lot of us want to talk about, but it is a reality we all have to face.  Maybe I don't have enough to do thus my overactive mind, but here goes.  What do you all plan to do with your Chargers or classic cars when you are...ahem...too old to drive?  I know many of you have more than one classic car so it would be interesting to know what you plan to do.  I am not trying to intrude into anyone's personal business, but what I am looking for is your thoughts.  I, for instance, plan to pass my two '69 R/T SE's to my two little boys.  Thoughts?

I will be driving it even when im 80.

My grandfather drived until the day he died. Shaved, cleaned up, drove off to hospital, died there that day. He was 72 or 74 I think.

when im disabled from being able to drive etc (if that ever be the case) and dont have Kids (dont plan on them - im 25) id sell it and put the money towards the Lords work. The blessing was there, now its time to give it back. If I did have kids, sure it would go to them if they were interested in it, if not, again, Lords work.

Uhm, thats about it really.

I plan to drive them for as long as I can..............and then some.

I plan to be the annoying old bastard in the left lane doing 35 MPH.

With the turn signal that's been on for the last 7 exits.

And smiling at anyone who passes me with their middle finger up.    :D

Lol same.
I'm 17 so this may change but if anything happens to me now the car stays in the family.
However, I plan on giving the one friend that has really helped on the car a key of his own.
As for when I have kids...they can go fix up their own (keeps mine safe and saves more from nature/crusher :2thumbs:).

I have a 71 Charger RT and my 6 and 12 year old sons are already locking horns over it! Jeez I'm only turnig 50 this year. I keep telling them that, god willing, they will have a LONG wait before they get their hands on it.

Since non of my older kids have an interest and the little one is to little, probably sell it and put the money in the house.  I sold my bike to help finance the engine Restoration and don't have many regrets.  I'm getting more and more like " been there done that " feeling, so sell and move on.  At least that's today thought.  I do swing back and forth.   ::)  so basically I don't know? :eek2:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I plan on setting up a museum well in advance of that situation, so that when I pass on, the cars will stay as a set for future generations to enjoy.  The overseeing of the workings of the museum will go to a combination of family and a few trusted friends, with stipluations of course.  Although, I would not mind taking the /6 Charger with me underground.......

The plan is to leave them to my Son. Though he's not really into them, that may all change in time and they may mean more when the time comes. If he decides to part with them, maybe they will go to someone else in the family. That will be his decision. :engel016:

Don't intend on passing on for the next oh 70 years or so, so I'm not worried about it right now. I don't think that there is any doubt on if my son would want the car though, that is to anyone who has met the little 4 year old. I used to think I was crazy about these cars, until i took him to look at a HEMI 500 and after 9 hours he still wasn't ready to leave yet. He wanted to look at it some more.

Well someday when I get a Charger I'll drive until I can't anymore.  I'll then put the car in a tomb (above ground) and give explicit intructions not to open the tomb for 1,000 years.  That way my future Charger will the the last one to survive. :icon_smile_big:

Seriously though when I do get my dream car I'll give it to my kids if I ever have any.
