Found an old Barracuda

My son just just got married a couple months back. I found out his mother in law drove this Barracuda untill 1980. It was parked then with just a bad rear gear. She gave it back to her parents at that time and has no say so about it. My sons father in law really likes me and is gonna try and work out a deal for me. Well I looked at it today and is is pretty much a parts car. Someone could bring it back but It would take a lot of parts and money.Someone removed the fender tag so I guess it is a 273 or 318? Every piece of glass is broken out or missing so the inside is shot including maybe half the floor. Kids over the years broke out all of the lenses.Body is not really that bad from the outside. It has been up on bricks for some reason but it looks like it is all there. I might be able to get it for practically nothing. This other on is an old Ford coupe  with no rust and has been parked outside for like 10 years. Why...who knows the guy is like in his 80's and don't care anymore I guess. They will want too much for it or won't sell it (udecided) I couldn't give much now since the Charger is priority.  I want to get a coupe of some sort after the Charger is done so if it is available then I am gonna try to get it. I don't know the years but the Cuda is what a 67-69? and the coupe looks like a 42 or so.

What fantasy world is that in? Have you seen the prices of fast back Barracuda's lately?

There is a huge rats nest under the hood. You can barly see the engine. There is a huge hole in the floor. The whole floor is probably bad. All the interior is toast. Dash is probably bad since the windshield is gone. I guess if the frame rails are good it may be worth saving. :shruggy: I guess we all seen worse.
