I use rattle can paint for the exterior, but have to hand brush everything else. Do you have one of those model paint spray guns? I think one of those would make it a lot easier. My models arent as detailed as yours.

I use spray paint for everything. I barely hand brush anything anymore because spraying it looks better IMO. I only hand brush when I'm blacking out grilles, painting small parts such as fans, carbs etc and when I'm painting a Pontiac engine or a engine that is red. I have a can of Hemi Orange spray so I use that on my Mopars (when the engine is Hemi Orange).

I have an airbrush kit but it dosent work properly. I tried it and it sprayed more paint on my hands then on the part.

Dave, I just looked at a side profile shot of a Daytona and the scoops on mine look to be in the same place as the real Daytona.
